Being creative on Twitter


Social media and public relations go hand in hand. But it's not easy to be a good at Twitter marketing if you don't know the social media networks strengths and weaknesses. 


Large companies ten to use social media networks to interact, promote and communicate with its audience. But as a new or  smaller company it’s difficult to make an impact on these types of networks. Still, web agencies promote Twitter as being an important part of net presence. But could you, without any large economical support, actually get your voice heard, without using spam or force viral campaigns? And if so, what would the 140 characters need to include and convey?



First off you need to find the appropriate target Twitter users based on your promotional context. Since a limited amount of information will be available to a Twitter marketing campaign, concerning user profiles, the campaign will rely on large quantities of users. The next step will be to construct messages based on one or several communication strategies. These messages, based on type X, will be sent out to approximately one thousand users. The data will be collected and analyzed. The process will then go back to step one and send out other messages, based on type Y. This will be repeated until an appropriate amount of data has been collected to support any findings made. But how do you send out thousands of messages?
